A Stone For A Pillow
A Stone For A Pillow
Text: Joshua 4:1-9; Genesis 28:10-22
Why would a man use a stone for a pillow? More importantly, why would God choose that moment to reveal himself? In Genesis 28, Jacob arrives at Bethel weary, lonely, and uncertain about the future. Yet the stone beneath his head becomes a memorial of God's presence and a picture of the rest found only in Jesus Christ. Join us as we explore how God meets people when they are lost, lonely, and lethargic, and why Christ remains our true place of rest, refuge, and relief.
Whether you are carrying burdens, facing loneliness, or wandering through uncertainty, Christ still invites weary souls to find rest in him.
Matthew 11:28 - "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
