Our Stand for Liberty

Here in New Hampshire, Liberty is plowed into our state’s historic figures like Patrick Henry who stated: “Give me liberty or give me death...” Our state’s motto is: “Live free or die” As the 9th state of the first 13 colonies, New Hampshire embraced the idea, hope and freedom that liberty provides.

We believe that Biblical Liberty comes from 7 “Pillars”

  1. Knowing the Lord Jesus Christ is your Saviour (Gal. 5:1)

  2. Standing on the scriptures of the AV1611 (James 1:25)

  3. Sound biblical preaching (Luke 4:18)

  4. Reading, memorizing and studying the Bible (Psalm 119:45)

  5. Walking in the Spirit of Christ (Gal. 5:25)

  6. Worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ (2Corinthians 3:17)

  7. Following God’s will for your life (Heb. 13:21)

Our Stand for the Baptist Name

The Baptist in our name is the denomination we identify historically with, though we are at liberty to be independent of organizations, boards, committees & conventions. Our Baptist forefathers died to to give us and preserve for us the liberty of the Baptist faith.

Our Stand for Sound Doctrine

WE BELIEVE IN THE INSPIRATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE SCRIPTURES WHICH ARE KEPT BLAMELESS WITHOUT ERROR IN THE AUTHORIZED VERSION OF THE KINGS JAMES 1611 BIBLE Genesis 2:7; Job 33:4; Ezekiel 37:9-10; Psalms 12:6-7; 2 Peter 1:19-21, 23; Proverbs 30:5-6; Psalm 138:2; John 17:17; Psalm 119:89

WE BELIEVE IN THE ETERNAL BLISS IN HEAVEN for all who are saved by grace through faith in Christ’s death by the shedding of his blood, his burial, and his resurrection, which we call the gospel 1Cor. 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9; Eph 1:7; Col 1:14; 1Pet 1:2-4; Rom 5:8-9; Eph 2:11-22; Rev 1:5

WE BELIEVE IN A LITERAL HELL AND ETERNAL DAMNATION for all who are unsaved because they chose ; Rom 3:22; 1Tim 2:4; Mt 25:41; Rev 20:11-15; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16; 22-31; Is 66:24

WE BELIEVE IN THE ETERNAL SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER John 3:16, 36; 1John 5; 12-13; Rom 8:11; 32-39; Jn 8:28-29; 1Pet 1:2-5; Eph 5:30; Titus 3:7; 1Jn 3:1-3

WE BELIEVE IN THE VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST Galatians 4:4-5; Luke 2:4-7; Isaiah 7:14

WE BELIEVE IN THE LOCAL CHURCH for the purpose of preaching, teaching, and singing to the glory of God and for the worship of Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth. The local church is made up of members who are saved believers and have been baptized but may have in its services both the saved and the lost, and we have within our constitution and by-laws the right to keep those out who pose a threat to our safety and unity. WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE LOCAL CHURCH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST Mt 28:18-20; Rom 1:14-16; Acts 1:8-9; 1Cor 1:1-2; Gal 1:2, 22; Col 1:1-8; 2Thess 1:1-4; 1Tim 3:15; Acts 20:28-32; Gal 2:4-5; 2Tim 3:8-9

WE BELIEVE THAT THE ORDINANCES OF THE LOCAL CHURCH ARE BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER by Baptism we mean the physical immersion of the believer in water after their testimony of salvation, where or when available, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost as commanded by God in Mt 28:19. This act is not for salvation but is rather a figure of the gospel which is Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection 1Cor 15:1-4; 1Pet 3:21; Mt. 1:16
By the Lord’s Supper we mean the commemoration of our Lord’s death by the bread and the fruit of the vine, which always proceeds self-examination 1Cor 11:23-28; John 6:52-53; Mt 26:26-30

WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY FORM OF ECUMENISM OR CHARISMATIC MOVEMENTS 2Cor 6:14-17; Amos 3:3; 1Tim 4:13; 1Cor 13:8; 2Cor 12:12; 11:4, 13-15; 2Thess 2:9
