Don't Get Drawn Away

In Joshua 8:14–21, the king and the men of Ai hastily pursued Israel, believing Joshua’s army was fleeing in defeat. However, they were being drawn into an ambush. Their haste led to deception, and in their deception, they left their city completely unprotected.

The enemy still attempts to draw believers away from confidence in their salvation, the authority of God’s word, and the strength and fellowship of the local church. This message encourages us to slow down, exercise spiritual discernment, recognize the enemy’s tactics, and guard the areas of our lives vulnerable to attack.
