IT IS THE LORD THAT ADVANCED

“It Is The Lord That Advanced…” 1 Samuel 12:6

A great reminder from the Prophet Samuel as to who it is “behind the scenes” advancing his servants, saints, and soldiers to positions of leadership.

It’s not the education, the leadership qualities, the ability to speak publicly, or even great communication skills we possess that impresses God; rather it is the will of God, who, if He is looking for anything, it is the heart of a humble and contrite spirit, the brokenness of one’s pride, the intercessory nature of concern for others, obedience to God’s words, and the commitment to finish.

Success is not measured by the numbers in attendance or the number of figures in the account. It is measured in doing what God asks and Him finishing what He started through you.

God does the calling. God does the enabling. God does the advancing. God goes the promoting. God does the magnifying.
