Rahab's Rope

In this study from Joshua 2:12–21, we examine the powerful symbolism behind Rahab’s scarlet cord. What appears to be a simple rope becomes a profound picture of salvation—revealing the “scarlet thread of redemption” that runs throughout the Bible.

From the binding power of the cord, to the identifying mark of the thread, to the securing and connecting nature of the line, every detail points to the saving work of Jesus Christ. Just as Rahab and her household were spared by remaining under the protection of the scarlet line, so today salvation is found only in the blood of Christ.

This message explores how salvation binds us to Christ, marks us as His own, secures our eternal destiny, and extends outward to impact others.
