Faith Worketh By Love

Faith is the operation; love is its expression and demonstration.

In Galatians 5:6, Paul declares that neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything spiritually, “but faith which worketh by love.” Faith does the working, while love is the means through which that faith operates and becomes visible.

This sermon examines the relationship between faith and love and explains why leaving our first love can hinder the working of our faith and our obedience to the truth. Love does not produce faith, but genuine faith demonstrates itself through love toward God and others.
