The Fellowheirs and Faithfulness of the Mystery

The Incorporation and Administration of the Body of Christ

In this study from Epistle to the Ephesians 3:6–8, we examine the Fellowheirs and the Faithfulness of the mystery of the Body of Christ. This passage reveals how Gentiles are now fully incorporated—made fellowheirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel—and how this mystery is administered through the ministry given to Paul.

This lesson highlights two key aspects of the mystery:

The Incorporation – Jews and Gentiles brought together into one body in Christ

The Administration – The stewardship of this mystery through faithful ministry

With this calling comes responsibility. The privilege of being part of Christ’s body and proclaiming His unsearchable riches requires:

Salvation – entering the body through the Gospel

Suffering – sharing in the cost of following Christ

Service – ministering as stewards of the mystery

Humility – recognizing the grace given to preach Christ

This message emphasizes that the fullness of this inheritance is not merely positional, but also practical—lived out through faithful obedience and Christlike character.
